One of our servers went down earlier this week and I've been trying to replace it. However the realtek drivers I download aren't working my the network adapter. I have ruled out any hardware problems.
I'm running on an ASUS M4A785M board with a Realtek RTL8168/8111 Family PCI-E Gigabit adapter.
Here are the drivers I've been using:
Realtek

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

maybe we can search for it by driver id. got device manager, open properties of the unknown device, the driver id (or hardware id) will be listed in there somewhere; prolly on a different tab. post the hardware id to thread message board thread.

Hardware ID (Windows Drivers)

The hardware Ids as they show up in device manger are:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_83A31043&REV_03
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_83A31043
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_020000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_0200

I should have mentioned any time I try to install its driver I receive a findfile failed window.

Not only so, but it recognizes the device in device manager correctly. (And it is enabled in BIOS)
