WinRar Archiving Question! Please help!

I have some folders with many files in them (700-6k). Yeah, it's a lot, don't ask...

Anyway, I need to zip each file in a given folder in it's OWN archive, not one big .zip

This would take years manually, is there a way to just highlight every file you want zipped and send them all to their own archives? Either through Winrar or a different program?

I googled this and found the normal 'buy this software to fix your problem' results.

WinRAR does it. Highlight the files you want to archive, and the option is a tickbox on this tab:
