wininet.dll

AppName: AppVer: 1.0.0.0 ModName: wininet.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2900.2180 Offset: 000047d4

Some programs have been randomly crashing, such as IE, and Steam. I get the "(App name) has encountered a problem and needs to close".

The program Steam wont even load, I just get that error.

I've replaced the winiet.dll file with a new one that didn't fix it.

Anyone help?

Re: wininet.dll

How might I remove it? I've deleted it before, but then my system was unusable and had to reinstall windows.

Yes that is true. I see that now. The first couple of links i loked at while researching this dll was about the trojan but now i see that it is also a system file as well.
