I'm working tech support and I've been requested to setup a system whereby we plug a computer into our phone line such that when we receive faxes, they are stored as an image file on that computer.
We have all the hardware in place (Have an old XP computer set up with a fax modem) now I just need the software to set it up. I understand that WinFax could do something like this, however that costs money. Are there any notable freeware/open source projects that can fill the gap?
The main goal is just to be able to receive and store faxes such that we dont have to print them and can view/print them at our leisure as we receive them.
