Question WindowsXP Home Ed. - User Account Problems

Ok, well a while back I decided I wanted to change my User Account name, so I went into the Control Panel and commenced of doing so... and it seemed as though everything was fine... but one day i was just bored and looking around my hard drive and what do ya know, in the Documents and Settings file there are two folders, one for my old user name (which i used when i installed XP) and the new one that i just changed... ??? whats up with that? its not any real major problem.. it just bugs me... Anyone, heard of anything like this before?
