Default Windows XP Virtual Environment Software

Being that I am an I.T. Instructor and teach A+ Certification preparation it is important for the students to get as much hands on experience in the XP OS environment. Unfortunately it is way to dangerous to give them full admin rights so I have been looking for a software that provides them with a way to get this practice via a virtual desktop with full admin privaledges but without the risk of destroying the system if they make a mistake. I was wondering if anyone in the community knows of such a program and if so where can I check it out?

I agree with Eric and Carnage. VMWare is the best way to go.

If your not familiar with VMWare, then I'd go with SS. You can still have users screw stuff up even on the VM and access the network, shares, etc, spread viruses, etc. VMWare is memory intensive so you gotta play with it before letting them loose. SS is free also so try them both out.
