I called the number for activation and it was some automated system that gave me a new key with no effort.

It still uses airtime minutes though. A 1-800 number usually just avoids the long distance charges not any airtime usage charges.. I think? I dunno...I never look at my bill since company pays for the cell phone..lol.Each plan is differnt though
