Windows XP SP2 problem

Hi.
I've updated from XP Pro to XP Pro SP2, and my compute keeps on asking me to activate, but i don't have the product key. Here's my story:

- I was using Home Edition, but there was viruses, so i booted to XP Pro, but my Realtek High Definition doesn't work with XP Pro, so i updated to XP Pro SP2. But now it keeps on asking me to Activate, and i don't have a product key, so, each 30 days i have to reboot.
- And i'm really tired of doing that, can you guys please please please help me solve this problem. How can i activate??
- It ask for Product Key, but i don't have one.

You would need to get a serial to activate the copy of windows.

If you call microsoft they'll give you a serial #.

Is the activation wich prompts you to contact microsoft? If I'm right you can select activate over the Internet without doing anything else.
