Default Windows XP reinstallation CD

I found a Windows XP reinstallation CD that came with an old Dell I bought. I want to know what it is and if it can be used to install XP on a system I'm going to build.

TIA

well mr. tbolt what it is, is exactly what u think it is...however chances are good that if you use it "the windows xp reinstallation CD" it will cause errors because aside from windows it probably has drivers for your older dell

Hmm, strange because it says on the CD, "This CD is not meant for drivers."

Also strange, I have another CD labeled, "Drivers for Dell Dimension 8200."

WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!shift+1!!!!!

The dell cd's pick up something on the motherboard that tells the installation that it is a dell machine. It will not work, but also will not hurt to try it.
