windows xp RE-installation help!!

hi.

this question has probably been asked numerous times but please bear with me..

i've re-installed windows xp sp2 home for the 3rd or 4th time due to some weird problems.

i'm using a legit OEM copy i got from newegg and now it's saying that my key has been used too many times and that it's expired.

what do i do? give them a call and tell them what happened? the last thing i want to do is pay another 80 bucks or whatever to purchase another oem copy or pay for another key..

i don't even know whats up with the copy i got to begin with.

also, my copy has never been lent out to anyone and has been used only for the computer i built.

help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!!!

i think that you can only use the keys three times. i would suggest calling them and hope that the person you talk to is in a good mood

You just have to keep trying activating, it took me alot of time and patience to activate my OEM copy of XP Home.
