Windows XP Pro - Won't log off/shutdown.

What would the first plan of action be when tackling this problem? I have a PC here with XP Pro that won't shut down, log off, restart, etc on the one account. On the OTHER account on the computer, it works perfectly fine.

Both accounts have admin rights.

This happens when I log in, let it fully load (opening no programs at all), and try to log out properly. Nothing is set to automatically start except our virus scanner software.

Pretty much what Boma said. Just about all the information is in there with some pages on how to troubleshoot this.
