Windows XP Pro only boots in safe mode..

Hey guys, major problem here i'm afraid.

Every time i reboot my computer, it would get to the xp loading bar (that winxp w/ the bar beneath it), then it would freeze.

The only way i could start it is through safe mode...

Then i have to re-install SP2 and then it boots, but when i reboot, same problem..

Apparently i have to boot in safe mode and then re-install sp2 for it to boot normally...

Please help!

One more thing that might help in diagnosing this; whenever i boot up the windows in SP2 (after re-installation), i get the error:

CLI.EXE

The application was not found, press ok to terminate it

How did you re-install it? maybe you need to format first and then run a new installation from a bootable CD.
