Windows Xp Pro with no wireless support?

Check and see if the "Wireless Zero Config" service is running. if it's not, then start it.

that service is required for the wireless compnent of windows to work.
 
A quick google revealed many people with your card having this problem. here was 1 solution



give wlassitant a try. I was having similar problems trying to manually connect to my wireless AP, but as soon as I tried wlassistant it connected me. Just use the automatically set DHCP and it should work. At least it did for me.
