Windows XP Keyboard Help!

I am a computer tech and Ive never seen this issue before. 2 customers in 3 days have broght pcs in with a keyboard issue. the keyboard makes clicking sounds only on there user account. I can boot to safe mode using administrator and the keyboard works. ran virus and spyware scans 2 times. nothing come up. please help me. iam in a jam and cant find any topics on this issue..

desktop or laptop?
try changing keyboards?

windows speakers are clicking or the keyboard itself doing it?

desktop. it not a keyboard itself. sound comes from the internal speaker.

Can you create a new account and see if the clicking continues ?

have you tried ANY other keyboard? even if its 10 years old..

USB / PS2?

Try clearing the cmos or check msconfig...sounds like something is conflicting with it possibly and of course, safemode wont load msconfig.....so it could be it

found out what it was. sticky keys was turned on. thanks for all the help.
