Default Windows XP Home Edition Product Key help..

Hey,
Recently, I installed windows xp home on a PC [oem]. I then decided to build a new pc, so I took out the HDD [which had windows xp home installed + also had it activated], and used that.
When I booted the newly built pc up, it didn't let me get past that windows xp logo screen with the marquee bar at the bottom, so I deleted everything off the HDD and reinstalled it.
So, I was done. When trying to re-activate my windows XP home, it didn't let me, saying that I had exceeded my number of attempts to activate or w/e.
I've been told I can re-activate atleast 3 times, any ideas / help?

Send a message via AIM to Win2kpatcher
Default

This happens more often than not. Simply put when you get to the activation screen select "other methods" or something like that than choose "telephone". This will give you a number to dial which you can get a new key from that will usually work. If not they will put you in touch with a live person. You should have no problems getting this activated again so long as it is yours and it is legal
