Windows XP CD

Hey, I got a windows xp cd from a friend and i put it in my comp thinking i could burn this cd and make one for my self just incase i wud ever need one....how would i burn it tho i got nero and i heard do burn a cd boot but i dont get how all i did was copy all the files on the cd onto my hardrive..

rip it to the hard drive as an iso file. then burn it

or use clonecd or alcohol 120 to just straight burn it

i wont get too much into this (legal issues and such) but SOME cd's have extra information attached to them that you cant just copy out through traditional methods. you would generally want to use a program to make an exact image of the cd called ISO's. then use nero to burn the ISO to your cd. this is for general information purposes only, i do NOT endorse pirating copywrited material.
