Windows XP Boot Disk newbie Question

Hello,
I am planning on formatting my hard drive soon and reinstalling windows XP.

Will my computer have any problems seeing my boot disk using my USB external floppy drive...or will things work like they would normally work if i had an internal floppy drive.

It depends on your BIOS.

Most BIOS's will see Floppy, HD, and CD-ROM. You could apply a BIOS update, which may let it see external USB drives.
