Windows within Windows

Ok well after my tinkering with Partition Magic I can safely say, I'm scared to even open it now. Anyways, does anyone know if there is sort of a switch or maybe an emulation or other type of soft/hardware product which will enable me to run Windows XP simultaneously with Windows 2000 or lower? It doesn't matter what the other OS is as long as it's Windows 2000 or lower. Thanks for any help.

You can use VMware to run multiple operating systems simulateously.

microsoft has software called virtual pc 7 thatll do the job but that costs. There are some free alternatives on sourceforge though.
