Windows Washer Users ~ Please Read

Hi, I just installed Windows Washer to clear up any unnecesary files that take up space and noticed that after I finished the wash up, I saw that Windows Related files take up almost 1 gig! I was wondering if its ok to click on 'clear statistics' and not delete any important files that might be there?

Windows 98. But for some reason when I open up Window Washer, it says Platform: Windows ME.

Windows 98 couldnt take up 1GB cos i could fit it on a 250MB HDD

But it says Windows Related: 991.8MB

So what should I do??

open "my computer" and then the C drive or whichever drive you have windows installed. Right click - properties on the windows folder (could be win98) and post the size it shows in the properties window, so we can see what is the size of the operating system files.

Not sure why this is happening. Last time I used win98 was over 5 years ago if I'm not mistaken. Not sure if the windows folder includes your desktop and documents. Try to check if there are any files you downloaded/copied there.

Win98 would only use something like 100-150 mb the most.
