Windows Vista User acct control issue

Ok so I followed the link on here: "10 steps to make Vista faster" and turned off the UAC in control panel, only now I can't figure out how to turn off the windows security alerts. Thanks any help is welcomed!

Which Windows Security Alerts are you talking about? the ones prompted by the Security Center? Go into the Control Panel and under Security Center. On the left hand side there is a option "Change the way the Security Center Alerts me"

Just click that and change the option to Do not notify me and do not sow the icon. Should solve that issue related to the Securyt Center.
