Windows Vista Ultimate installed half way and then...

Hey!

I feel kinda dumb now. I would like to apologize to everyone!

Here is what I did wrong:

I had installed a firewire PCIX-1 card in the MO before installing the OS. I called Fry's and the tech recommended I take all peripherals out.

As soon as I removed the firewire card, everything installed perfectly.

I won't do that again!

I'm having the EXACT same issue, but I do not have a firewire card in. Actually...I don't have any peripherals installed.
