Default Windows Vista Security Flaws

Hello, my name is Drew and I'm currently in a class about computer operating systems...

Now I'm a biology major so I have no idea why it's a requirement to take this course with OS systems but I'm currently to write a paper regarding the new security flaws with Vista OS.

I'm not really sure how to approach this assignment... where do I find out these flaws, what they do, and who protects against them?

Any tips?

I just want a stupid C in the class and carry on! Haha, thanks for any help/direction.

Well considering that Vista is just 6 months old and all flaws have already been patched. I dont know what you are really looking for.

There was only 3 major flaws that i can think of. The ,ani cursor flaw (Patched) and a couple others which are already patched. They hit about the same time as the animated cursor.

If you want to read up on flaws you are better off Looking at XP. There are more flaws to talk about and write about the patch cycle of M$.
