I have a question on the new windows vista. I got a new computer for my niece, but it had to be Windows Vista:( . I set it up for her and it was running fine and shutting down fine. she started playing with it Christmas Eve and since then it would not shut down right. The screen would say shutting down for a few minutes with that circle logo moving and then it would stop and freeze and you could not hear any noise from the hard drive. First asked her what she had download and she said nothing and then I looked and she downloaded EZTUNE I think and a few other things. I did a restore back to where I gave it to her in the first place, but I think the damage is already down, because it still doesn't shut down right. Any suggestions?

There should be a restore or recovery partition which can take it back to Factory defaults. Go to the manufacturer site and find out how to do that.
