All i got to say is when Vista comes out there will be more downloads then people buying it. You never know who is going to download it. I have seen so many sites with the beta 1. I was going to download it just to see the big fuss but then i said screw it whats the point right know its beta.

Tyler, Paul Thurrot is not a pirater, he belongs to MSDN. As many IT Pros / authors / reviewers do, they keep a list of keys because they are constantly changing hardware around when testing new OS's. Paul Thurrot is one the most respected IT professionals / authors around today. That man knows more then this entire board combined.

A small sampling to give a peek at just how involved in the IT community Paul Thurrot is. Do you have such an impressive resume?

Quote:
Paul Thurrott is the news editor for Windows IT Pro. He writes a weekly editorial for Windows IT Pro UPDATE (http://www.windowsitpro.com/email) and a daily Windows news and information newsletter called WinInfo Daily UPDATE (http://www.wininformant.com).

You really need to stop with this Paul Thurrot is a pirate rhetoric.

erm... may be i'm blind, but i don't see a folder anywhere remotely resemble what your mentioning.. can you please tell me which second is the folder shown so i can fast forward to that point?

When you talking about patient infringment, it would be better to spell it correctly, hope you correct two places in two seperate posts where you spelt patient as "patiants"..

anyhow, if indeed there is a folder named something along the lines of pirate, then he still wouldn't care about your squaking, as he is arguably one of the most respected Windows professional on the net.. You know, you should tell MS what he's been doing if your that sure he's a pirate, because if someone in his position pirates, MS will surely look into it, as long as MS cares enough about you to even listen to what you have to say

Don't you guy know that we know nothing and tyler knows everything.
this is the same 13 year old that came on here as a newbie and told us that windows 2000 was junk, just because longhorn was coming out.

he probably been in computers for a year, yet he knows more than people with 20 years experience. LOL

Sike

have you ever notice that all of his post are not informative or even helpful. his best posts are the one when advise people to head to windows update and download the latest drivers. he don't solve problems here. He imposes his will on you

Who said I'm 13 and yes sniper I am older than you. I would have been 3 since I am 10 years into computers, isn't that afually young? Not that it matters as age means nothing. Besides the COPPA 13 deal. And no sniper there are things called registry hacks. Thurrot is respected but he talks his *** off at times (remember his whistler reviews anyone?).
