Default windows update killing cpu usage!

I just built a new computer and everything runs fine, but in the task manager it shows that winupdates.exe*32 is using on average 50% of my CPU. On my old computer it was nothing near that, and I was wondering if this is normal and if it isn't can some one help me fix it. I am also running Windows x64, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Feedback would be excellent, Thanks

i wouldnt worry about it to much its just installing the updates if it stayed at a constand 100% and your system started becomming very slugish i would start to worry but the cpu usage at 50% is nothing to worry about.
