ok, can someone please explain to me why i can move my system clock all the way back to 19-freakin-80!!! whats the point, its not like you can go back in time! :P

Why not? They are just making sure it is a fully functional clock.

reasons:
A. its microsoft they cant figure out what year it is
B. might help with a homework problem lol
C. if u couldn't set it to go backwards what happens if u set it to far fowards?
D. again its microsoft they have alot of useless things

maybe, bill gates was anticipating a time machine that would go back in time to 1981 and use a computer with windows XP on it. lol.
