Default windows size

Hi:

I have a question..Let's say you open a Internet explorer window or a MS word window. When it opens its all maximized.. If I take that window and make it smaller and close it...Next time that I open that window again it will come up with the same size that was when I closed it last time.

How do I do so when I open a window it will always come up maximized and not the size that it was the last time that i closed it ?

Thanks !!!

create a shortcut to the program, open the shortcut's properties, click shortcut tab, set run as maximized. some app will require you to open and maxmize the app once for this to take effect.
