I have xp pro and the first time i downloaded service pack 1a it messed up my computer. When i restarted my comp i got a mesage saying [root directory]/system32/ntoskrnl.exe missing/corrrupt. I fixed the problem by reparing the instalation with my xp pro cd. What could be causing this problem. I can never successfully install service pack 1a.
