Default Windows Server 2003 User Accounts

Hello Everyone,

I recently wanted to manage the user accounts on my domain through server 2003, but can I do it from the server directly without going to the machine itself.

For example I want to give the user an admin rights on his machine without going to computer management there.

Any hints on this issue...

They would have to have Roaming Profiles. Profiles that are stored on the Server not the Local Machines. In order to do it your way you would have to remote in to the machine.

well it depends... if you are running AD, which it sounds kinda like you are considering you said domin, you can use group policy to make the domain user a local admin.
