At work, our system admin quit. This leaves me as the IT department for now. The problem here is that, when he left, he changed the admin passwords on his way out and didn't tell anyone what they are changed to. I've tried software that I've used in the past to reset to blank with no success, can't find the registries. I've also tried re-installing from the MS Server 2K3 disks. The problem is that the machines will not boot from the disks.

What are my options here? Can I format without logging in? Is there another way to re-install?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm beating my head against a wall here.

I figured it out. I had to use the MS Partners MAPS site and download Server 08, create a recovery disk on my workstation, and install that on a new drive partition. Then I was able to gain admin and change all of the passwords back and remove server 08. Back up and running. Thanks for the help.
