Am I at risk just by having Windows on my machine, and using it only for work/gaming or is it only the downloading stuff off the internet that degrades the system?
do you have all your windows updates? unless your running windows on an older machine that truely can't handle a basic anti virus program... then you most likely need a few hardware upgrades.
