its not letting me do it, like i put it in, then when i go to check to see if its checked its not and i cant apply anything

you havnt answered this question, does your account have admin rights? , also if your using xp *pro* then goto start-->run-->gpedit.msc goto administrative templates-->system and double click "code signing for device drivers" set it to disable and apply (and i mean the last administrative templates)

uninstall that driver then head to this driver. we could help you better if you posted pictures
