Default Windows and NewEgg

Is this an upgrade of some sort, service pack, etc, or is it the full Windows XP Home version? Seeing as though it's 100 bucks I wasn't sure what to think...

Give a link to what your talking about. I suspect that it's OEM or Upgrade.

If you're referring to this version, then it says that it's Upgrade. It was the only version of Home I saw that was $100.

That is Windows XP SP2, but in order to purchase it, you have to have a previous Windows OS.

Wow I'm stupid. I could of sworn I hit CTRL+V to paste the link but I goofed up.

I saw the upgrade link for 99.99, and figured well it says upgrade, it has to be an upgrade. Then I was confused because I found this for a little cheaper, yet this appeared to me to be a full version.....

Yea, It's OEM. If it's on NewEgg, it's legit, so go for it. It is only home, but that shouldn't pose a problem for you.

I assume it's just one license? Doesn't the regular package from Circuit City and Best Buy contain 3 licenses?

I think you can only install it on 1 no matter what. They are stating on their site that it's for only 1 machine now.
If it's a student version, it might allow something else, but that is only for students.
