windows messenger

Hi,
I run WinXP home edition with SP2.
I want to run files I receive via Windows Messenger through a filter. MSN and Yahoo Messenger had this option to specify a file in the options tabs to do this. But Windows Messenger does not.
So, if someone could tell me how to do this or a work around, it'd be great

Windows Messenger doesn't have that option...it's too basic. Your work around is MSN Messenger. Liz

Hmmm,
Is there any other way to catch a file transfer? I need this only on Windows Messenger. Even if the solution is a little low level, it is fine. I'll at least know how to solve this even if I cant implement it
