Hey guys, I have a problem. Even with K-lite codec pack(full) installed, I cannot play avi files. Any Idea what the problem is? I run Vista Home Premium.

But is for Windows 7 not vista

Never Mind, saw that it was also for vista.

But now, there is now volume. When I installed that codec pack.

Check your system's volume setting. Windows 7 Codec Pack works for 7, Vista, and XP as I have installed it on all of them.

make sure you uninstalled the other codec pack before installing this one. If you didn't, uninstall both and then reinstall this one.

Well Thanks for the help guys. I've just decided to use VLC because I've tried 4 codec packs today(while cleaning registry to make sure no errors), but all have a very deep bass sound, which is annoying.

Thanks for the help though.

Another Question, do you guys know why there is such a deep bass sound when I install those codec packs? This never happened before.

I have never encountered it so I have no idea. Are you getting the same thing with VLC?

VLC works properly. Is it maybe because I have too much codecs installed? I use G-Spot Codec to detect codecs and I have around 237 codecs.
