Default Windows media player plugin for firefox

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not great with computers, seemed like a good place to ask.

I recently got firefox, and I can't watch any videos that require the windows media player plugin, I'm not really sure what to do at all. v.v; I know for a fact that I have windows media player, I had 11 but rolled back to 10 to see if that would help. Anyways, here's some visual aid, just for fun <_<;

Yeah. Hope someone can help (i tried the manual install, it just eventually directs me to the page to download windows media player, which I already have)
