windows media player crashing

this happens whenever i click on a video link, somewhere in IE... windows media player will open up and say "connecting", and would take too long, so then i press the "stop" button, and media player would freeze there completely... whats the problem? this never happened before.

Hmm, have you tried reistalling the media player? Also if you have a firewall make sure your player has permission to access the internet. I also think you should check out the bsplayer.. Its what I use for all my video, I use winamp for all my audio..

yeah i tried reinstalling WMP, and it does have permission from my firewall... maybe i'll try bsplayer and see how it goes.
