When I try to view an .avi file, all i get is the audio portion of it. I notice when I open the file I receive the following error "error downloading codec", What is causing this and what would I have to do to solve this problem? I appreciate any help.

Google search codec. They will give you all sorts. Need to find ones that are compatable with WMP. Should be quite a few. Then download ones you can use and install and they should work. At least i have done that. Donnt know if the codec pack will have the particular codec you need.
