Default Windows Media Player

I have a problem with this. I reinstalled Windows and now I can't rip music from CDs. I used to have along the top of the window a few buttons, including "Rip Music", as I'm sure many of you are familar with. However, now I have a similar menu down the left hand side and the only option I have is to "Copy Music From CD", and I can only use WMA and not MP3.

I have all the latest updates and whatnot.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.
