how come i cant stream video from certain sites using media player but i can use real player

Check the WMP settings and make WMP default player, also check browser settings, or un-install REAL.

U could also install a newer WMP version.

WMP=Windows Media Player

open wmp - go to tools-options-file types then check all the boxes or the file types you are trying to play.. I hope that helps

VLC is also a great media player & has excellent conversion & streaming options...

You probably don't have all the proper codecs installed. Either that or you are trying to stream *.rm files.
