wmp 11 won't let you tranfer or receive wma protected items from another computer. this was a simple chore in wmp 10 as it had backup and restore options from your protected windows media audio.

I dont know how true that is. I have been able to get protected files from friends and their Zune's. I come home and have been able to remove them from my Zune and put them on my PC no problem. They play just fine and everything.

I don't know anything about zune. I know that I can't enable wma files from another computer (friends). I could do it with wmp 10
