Default Windows Media Player 10 Problem

I have just installed windows media player 10, but everytime I play a song or try to watch a video it always seems to be minamized, when I right click the taskbar button and click maximize, it maximizes but I can't see it, when I click minamize again it seems to minamize from off the screen on the right hand side....... I have reinstalled but still get this problem.

you can resize it in the minimize (actually called restore down) view

right click it and select size.
