windows media help

This is really pissing me off, i tell windows media to be my default video program and yet it is always asking me what i want to use to view my mpegs and other video file types, wtf this is so anoying, any ideas why it keeps asking me?

So you right clicked on the .jpg, clicked open with, selected the program you wanted to use then check the box that reads "always use this program when opeing these kinds of files"? Correct?

I do this and i tell it to always use it for this file and IT STILL ASKS ME NEXT TIME, its soooo anoying~!

head to my computer, hit tools, then folder option, file types

Delete the mp2, mpeg, mpe and MP2v extension

now recreate each one seperately

on the open with tab, browse to the C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe icon. for each one to open it with
