I know I have seen a thread on this before but I cannot find it.

I have 2 accounts (main account and a guest account) however, after booting the computer, it goes to a logon screen only for the main account. I cannot get the screen where I have a choice to logon to either user.

How do I get this screen again?

Thanks

Windows xp?

1) Click on Start
2) Click on Control Panel
3) Double-click on User Accounts
4) Click on "Change the way users log on or off"
5) Check "Use the Welcome Screen"
6) Click on Apply Options
7) Close the User Accounts window and the Control Panel
8) Reboot your computer

It says something about client services for netware has disabled welcome screen. The box that says "use the welcome screen" is grayed out and I cannot check it

Do you currently log in a Novell server?

If not you can remove the service from properties for your network card.

did you get this computer from a business?

No to the Novell question and this is a personal computer. I loaded the windows myself last year and this is an issue starting today I think.

strange.

What services and potocols do you have in your local area connections properties?

If not using novell you can uninstall nwlink and Client Service for NetWare from your properties page.

on my connection properties screen, I have the following...

- client for microsoft networks
- file and print sharing for microsoft networks
- qos packet scheduler
- pure networks device discovery driver
- pure networks wireless driver
- internet protocol (tcp/ip)
