Windows installer problem

I read through all of that, and I think my only problem is that I don't think I have an install disk for XP Home. It came on the PC and I don't think they gave me a disk. I do have a copy of XP Pro for a computer I'm not using any more. I'm considering doing an upgrade of home to Pro and see if that fixes me.
