Windows Installer

Does the windows installer check for corrupted files? I am about to make a slipstreamed install and don't want to discover months later my disc was corrupt.

afaik, windows installer does not check for corrupt files....just reports & terminates when it finds one.

run sfc /scannow to check the integrity of your system files

Are those two apps built in windows system utils, or thrid party? Are they run at install-time or simply in windows?
