Okay I didnt see this forum but it seems there are way more technical people than the other parts so here goes.
I am trying to do the following: I want windows on one partition and I want my games on another partition. The problem is when I reformat just the windows partition some of my games go all nuts saying they can not be found/ error/etc so my question is how do I set it up so that I can have all my games/overclocking tools etc on one hard drive and just windows on another so when I reformat my games are safe?
do I need to backup my registry?
is there some special way to keep the games from being messed up?
is this even possible?
someone told me that its very complicated and its almost easier to just reformat when needed and start fresh again.. but I have like 11 games totaling almost 40gb's and I also have controls for all...settings/updates/fixes/tweaks/patches..
so if there is a way id greatly appreciate it
