Exclamation Windows firewall issue

I am currently running Win XP Pro w/SP2 and I have the windows security alert in my task bar telling me that it cannot turn on my windows firewall. This is the message that I receive when I click on Windows Firewall from the control panel:

malware scans first. http://housecall.trendmicro.com

then check event viewer for details.


have you made any changes recently? installed/uninstalled any software?

Yes it's a new build (finised last week) and I just set up file and printer sharing yesterday with my other computer, but the only software I have installed since the firewall went down are a few games: BF2, Counter Strike, and Delta Force. I am also currently running PcCillin for my AV

Law thanks a million, it worked out perfect, entering the new registry info did the trick.
