windows firewall.

ok i updated to sp2 when it came out and everything was fine. but recently when i try to start my firewall i get this message.

use zone alarm or an other firewall software, they are better than windows integrated firewalls.

Also, if u have a firewall integrated in a router, use it.

the problem is that when i try to open it up i dont usually use the firewall it just lets me get to the port config. anyone know a better way to allow programs to connect to the internet?

if firewall is off, no ports are blocked unless u use router, in that case you would need to change settings in firewall on router (192.168.1.1 or sumthing).

Using a other firewall like zonealarm is usefull also.

Fallow the instructions on that link he gave you, try and fix problem, if u cant get it to work, il look it up further, and help you out.
