Windows Drivers Stoped Responding?

Ok i just got windows XP and every once in a while it will all of a sudden it will freeeze and then goto this tiny 460x480 screen

when i use 1024x768

i'm posting from this little bad clolored screen right now...

what would be the problem?

not really sure ... i just got the PC and havnt had time to look around things

its also just freezing and re-booting... so idk whats up

I'd go ahead and do the usual.

1.) Virus/Malware Scans. If alot shows up, post up a HiJack this log.

2.) Reinstall video card driver. Check for device conflicts

and once again i'm back to this ungly little box lol

Look to your drivers, dude. Something's having a conflict. First, check yer device manager and see if you have any problems there. After that, check your DirectX version, BIOS setup, and drivers. Also, what kind of card is this? You need to find out and let us know.

i used to have a Nvida g400 ... i was a big gamer until my 56k whent out of style lol

Ok and this freezing and rebooting is becoming a every 5 min thing

I'm just messing around and all of a sudden it freezes for about 20 sec then it re-boots it self

what would be the cause of this?
